Resolution
Please pray with me in this “resolution”
Batting demons…
I am going to try and get out of this rut I have been in for the past ten years…
This sin that I have. It is ridiculous and it needs to stop.
Tomorrow begins February 2012. And I hope .
I hope this sin will stop in my life.
The temptation will come and I hope and know I can resit it.
Along with the words I...

"Find a job" & "Get married"
(Bold words are links to songs that I had been thinking about as I wrote)
The past week I have been asked twice unexpectedly, “So when are you getting married?” well… I hope one day to get married, not sure when just yet …
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my...

I am not innocent
Sex has been marred by the society we live in; it is portrayed vulgarly and has created a desensitized culture and misconceptions about sex. I have marred it in my own life and have my own struggles in believing and thinking like this world. I know that God is so very gracious. His love and grace through his Son take away my sin. I know that God’s word is truth.
What the Bible Really Says...

Blood Is Thicker Than Water
Biologically speaking, most of my relationships have nothing to do with blood, Those who I am blood related to are strangers in my life. I am in my family by legal documents. There is thick blood that is so much richer than any water. In this world, the blood that is thick is Christ’s blood He shed for the sins of his people.
My relationships with those in Christ are very thick. These...

Journal Upon Journal Upon
Journal.
I must thank my high school small group leader in my sophomore year who gave me my first journal that I actually used. I was somewhat apposed to the idea of keeping a journal or diary. I tried several times as a little girl, but it never lasted more than a few days. My father insisted I journal in a notebook during the summers, but those are barely reaching a quarter mark of being full....

Is my head in a box?
I have had much multicultural experience.
I have been raised in a Japanese American home, lived overseas in Guam where I encountered several cultures, I have been to a handful of places in the world either through family trips [usually combined with my father’s work] or mission trips.
As I speak semi-often with a dear friend who lives in Kenya, I am coming to think more and more,...

[overdue]
Dear family and friends,
Asante sana, thank you very much. I thank you so very much for your support. The mission to Kenya has been truly a life changing one, and I plan to return, hopefully in November of this year or next August. God is in control and I will follow Him where he leads me in this life, in this world.
I am blessed to know the team that I went to Kenya with and also the...

Lessons from John 14.15.16
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me… Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do...
”The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.”
Proposal
God is the light to my path, not the stadium lights to the whole field. Thankfully he knows all that is in the field and will guide me through it.

It is not that life is too short to have regrets.
It is that God’s love for us is so great that we don’t have time to think about the regrets when we think about how He loves us.

This is NOT real life
Actually it is.
Coming to the real understanding that everything is going on is real happening.
My heart is shattered; however, it has been that way for some time.
I know that God has my heart and all the pieces.
When I pray, “God break my heart for what breaks yours” I have learned so much that God’s heart is so broken for this world. He has so much love and he just...

The Room by Joshua Harris
In that place between wakefulness and dreams, I found myself in the room. There were no distinguishing features save for the one wall covered with small index-card files. They were like the ones in libraries that list titles by author or subject in alphabetical order. But these files, which stretched from floor to ceiling and seemingly endlessly in either direction,...

Displaced
I am realizing how much I do not want to be here at home or even in the United States. And I am only going to speak about summers. School year wise is a different story although the feelings are much the same. After high school, I have learned SO much about myself and who God is and how he created me to serve him. I have and continue to serve him in my singleness and I will serve him when I am...

says I am morphing on Saturday.
That is just because his ‘lil’ girl is turning twenty-one years old.

The team in Kenya has been the hands and feet of Christ past few days. Although tired, God has given us strength. The constuction team has spent time at Manna Bible Inst. where they are working on building a roof. Childrens team have been teaching members of several churchs in Nairobi about teaching Sunday school. The medical team has had seen over 200 patients the last two days in the Kibera...
maertin asked: That is such an awesome thing that you are doing! I am going to be in Kenya this summer until the end of July, and I love it here! I won't be working in the Kibera slums though, just mainly kawangware's slums. Keep following His heart because it's going to be the only thing that keeps you going at times! (Just wanted to say that it is so awesome to hear other's hearts for...

Kenya
Without God I am nothing. I am praying for a humble spirit for the next two weeks. I am going to head around the world to Kenya, Africa. I will be with 16 others to work along side with the church, Rongai Church, that we have a continuing and a growing relationship with. Our church has been supporting them and the people there through what they have called Love Now.
We have three teams going:...
